Knut obtains court orders stopping validation and remittance of Union dues

Court has issued an order directing TSC to deduct union dues from Knut members and remit the same to the Union for its functions. Knut has gone to court after rumours went round that TSC has failed to deduct union dues for the second month. This is a big relief to Knut which was facing closure over debts. Last month TSC did not make union deductions after the labour court failed to issue stay orders.

TSC which has vowed to launch two payrolls that will cater for Knut members and those members not belonging to Knut has insisted that it will appeal the verdict of the labour court.

The labour court stopped the Careeer Progression Guidelines (CPG) from being implemented to Knut members and directed TSC to revert back to Schemes of Service (SOS) for promotion of teachers.

Teachers are eargerly waiting to see what will happen in the next payroll after TSC made it clear that Knut members will not enjoy the benefits of the CBA the court rulling which barred CPG implemented to Knut members.

The teachers employer initiated a T-Pay system where that will run upto October where teachers are required to log in to their online payslip and decide whether they want a member of a particular Union or association. Some of the most popular teachers outfits include Kewota and Kuppet.
