Students form Kipsaos Boys High School in Elgeyo Marakwet have gone on rampage destroying property of unknown value in a night riddled with chaos.
Keiyo South sub-county police commander Charles Laboso confirmed the incident saying police officers alerted to the matter managed to contain the chaos.
Mr.Laboso however raised concern, saying that the whereabouts of 57 out of the 98 students who were in the school at the time is unknown.
Some students are believed to have fled after police officers arrived at the school.
He appealed to student to seek alternative dispute resolution instead of engaging in violent shows of dissatisfaction.
At the same time, he warned that the students who perpetrated the chaos will be brought to book once probe into the matter is completed.
