END OF MY TOUR OF DUTY
The above captioned matter refers.
I am proceeding on Terminal Leave with effect from today, 1st June, 2025, pending my retirement from the Teachers Service Commission on 30th June, 2025, after serving the Commission in various capacities.
I wish to take this opportunity to thank you most sincerely for the dedication, commitment and the unwavering support you accorded me during my tenure as the Commission Secretary/Chief Executive Officer.
It has been an incredible privilege and honour to lead such a team of talented professionals in managing the affairs of our great Country on matters related to the teaching service.
It is as a result of your devotion to duty that, collectively, we have been able to navigate several challenges and achieve significant milestones in transforming the teaching service, and enhancing service delivery to our stakeholders.
As I transition into the next chapter of my professional life, I have been reflecting on the solid and firm foundation that we have built together and, honestly, I leave with a heart full of profound gratitude for everything we have accomplished.
I am extremely proud of you not just as employees of the Commission but also as an outstanding team.
I urge you to keep working hard, continue delivering services that reflect the best out of you and protect the core values of our institution.
Looking to the future, I am confident that you will accord my successor, the management team and the Commission’s Board the necessary support in steering the Commission to even greater heights.
In the meantime, note that the Commission has appointed Ms. Evaleen Mitei, to act as the Commission Secretary/CEO pending the appointment of my successor.
I urge you to accord her the necessary support.
I wish you God’s blessings as you continue to serve this great Commission, and the nation at large.
DR NANCY NJERI MACHARIA, CBS
SECRETARY/CHIEF EXECUTIVE
Copy to: Commission Chairman
Dr. Nancy Macharia, you have left positively transformed TSC. May God’s favours follow you and the team you worked with all the days of your lives.
All the best Dr. Nancy Macharia. Those who met you during your time as an in charge of teacher management can attest that you had the interests of teachers at heart. I will forever thank you. God bless you as you exit the Commission.
Good job mam,you have served well with commitment.God bless you
All the best
Thanks and glory be to God the Almighty for ridding off the TSC of the its ugly, corrupt and inept CEO Nancy Machietha who have been serving Uhuru Kenyatta and his regime and mount Kenya instead of serving Kenya. Good riddance. Teachers are now happy and have organised a great celebration of her exit. She has stagnated teachers with her CPG, she was the source of frustrations of the teachers in Kenya. Teachers will not miss her ugly face 😈
All the best Dr. Nancy.
I want to wish our CEO Nancy God’s Blessing for Steering Commission toward integrity and transparency as core value. she took Commission when corruption was at the peak that undermined principle of master servant leadership.Thank you for how hard you defended Commission and teachers at the hands of politicians in your last seating inspite of threats and intimidation. The incoming CEO should be visionary and cautiously to avoid falling foul and dipping commission to hands and mercy of greedy politicians but work in collaboration for benefit of teachers and children of this country.
