Teachers employed by Teachers Services Commission (TSC) have been asked to login to their TPay portal to take part in an online survey.
The Commission is conducting a one month customer and employee satisfaction survey and teachers are key in giving feedback.
This comes as TSC CEO Dr. Nancy Macharia is set to exit office through retirement end of June after serving at the helm of the Commission for a decade.
“Commission plans to conduct a customer and employee satisfaction survey as a significant activity scheduled for the Financial Year 2024/2025,” Ms Macharia said in a memo.
“Feedback from this survey will be useful in re-engineering its processes to improve service delivery,” she added.
Ms Macharia said the survey will target all teachers employed by the Commission, Secretariat Staff and some selected Stakeholders.
TSC has today activated the online exercise and teachers can now login to TPay and start taking the survey.
Upon entering TSC number, password and completing the security question a teacher will login in to TPay where he/she will then click a link written “Click here : Teachers – customer and employee satisfaction survey (cess) 2025” which will take he/she to the survey.
It will lead to the survey where they will answer questions provided before finally submitting their feedback.
The exercise will take one month as it is scheduled to run from 9th April 2025 to 9th May 2025.
Below is a memo that was released by the Commission to guide the exercise.

PA CS/DIERCTOR OPERATIONS
TSC you don’t act on transfers especially to Nairobi schools I applied my transfer in 2022 but nothing has been done 10%
Promotions TSC is not fair in promotions we need fair promotions
Am 57 years with a P hD. Acted as a Head teacher twice, but not promoted to C5 in the just posted list.
These were the major qualifications needed.
Kindly consider this please.
Am dissatisfied and need the promotion.
Thanks
Some schools have enough jss teachers while others struggling with one or two
Am appealing TSC to look into Promotion criteria for teachers . Injustice was done and TSC call it fair and justice…I personally done interviews severally no promotion, l wrote a letter to TSC in 2018 ;…. TSC is biased in some zone and favouring areas like those in asal areas hata without looking for duration or experience. Also some counties favoured not considering the highest populated ones..Am crying because of too many subjected interviews and no promotions…
I wish this survey would be eligible to all teachers even the ones not employed by TsC… because I’m wondering why some counties teachers have been employed untill 2023 but others are still in 2012…TsC is not fair in it’s dealings.Theres teacher shortage across the country and P1 teachers are crying all over others killing themselves because of depression, others have left the profession due to lack of getting a school that can sustain their needs,it’s really disheartening…I wish there was someone to listen to our cries😭.
Where is the survey
I wish to ask Tsc to look into promotion for teachers. Imagine current Job (c2) since 2015 up to now without being promoted. Please promote us. Thank you.
We thank God for this job. Thank you.
Having served as deputy hoi,am dissatisfied by this promotion, how will I hide my face?????
I do appreciate the tsc for coming up with this tpay survey. As for me I find it convincing and easy with it.I just ask the tsc to look at some teachers kcpe or kcse performance and motivate them on their performance.Im proud and thank God that students that passed through my hands are successful for the good marks they got. Please if possible promote us on that merit. God bless TSC kenya
Tsc must promote teachers who have stagnated In the same job group for a long time
Tsc has really killed morale for some of us,even though we work hard we feel demololized,A diploma graduate since 2013 and still a C1,acted as a senior teacher for 8yrs still a C1,now acting as a deputy HOI and still a C1,where did i mess with the commission???
Tsc why leave those that have stagnated for many yearsHave been c2 for since 2015 and not promoted. Please be fair
