Musingu Boys High School dormitory in Ikolomani, Kakamega County, on Wednesday went up in flames barely two days after the institution reopened.
The Oparanya dormitory, which houses well over 500 students, caught fire at around mid-morning when the learners were in class.
Police officers who arrived on scene said no fatalities were recorded during the incident.
The officers further added that investigations are still underway to reveal the source of the fire which is still unclear.
Sources within the institution also said this was the third fire at the school in a span of two years.
Please let them remove intern marks because some of us applied but we were left out during intern it’s not our fault
It leaves a lot to be desired. The cause of the two previous fires is not yet established.
I think if the real cause is known,
Worse happenings will be avoided.
