Magoha reveals details of top performing sub county schools in the KCSE exams

There were 1,138 candidates who scored an overall grade of A plain. CS Magoha stated that 826,807 candidates sat for examinations in 2021 compared to 747,000 in the previous year. 50.9 per cent were males and 49.1  per cent were females

CS Magoha, released the 2021 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examination results on Saturday, April 23.

The exams were done in 10,413 centres. For students to access their results, they can either use the short SMS service or the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) portal.

To check results, students are advised to send their index number followed by KCSE (in capital letters) to the number 20076. Note, that there should be no spacing after the index number’s last digit and the initials KCSE.

The service is available on all telecommunication networks in the country (Safaricom, Airtel and Telkom) and each SMS will be charged at Ksh25.
