Othaya Girls Principal announced AU 2020 Teacher Prize winner

Teachers Service commission (TSC) has shared the joy with Othaya Girls Secondary school Chief Principal Jane Kimiti after she emerged the winner for African Union 2020 Teacher prize, scooping the prestigious award.

TSC also praised the Teacher Performance Appraisal and Development (TPAD) which says it enhances performance.

TSC had declared Ms Jane as the Principal Of the year Award (POYA) winner in 2019.

Othaya Girls’ secondary school Chief Principal Jane Kimiti is the AU Continental Teacher Prize winner for 2020.

The AU captured her contribution in quality teaching, encouraging desirable behaviour among learners, community outreach programmes that support learning and Inspiring learners to work hard to be functional members in their society.

Ms Kimiti was first declared as the Principal Of the year Award (POYA) winner for 2019 in Mombasa by Teachers Service Commission.
