RE: CHANGE OF FESTIVAL DATES – 97^TH EDITION OF THE KENYA MUSIC FESTIVAL 2025

On behalf of the Kenya Music Festival Committee, I sincerely thank you for your continued commitment and preparation for the 97th Edition of the Kenya Music Festival.

Please take note that the national event, initially set to begin on 2^nd August 2025, will now start on 4^th August 2025.

Reporting date therefore changes from 1^st August to 3^rd August 2025. Additionally, the Gala Concert has been rescheduled to 13^th and 14^th August 2025, and the State Concert will now take place on 16^th August 2025.

The performance cards initially issued to qualifiers remain valid. Performance time and halls remain as indicated.

Performance dates as indicated on the cards have however consequently changed (see attached table overleaf for your case of reference).

We regret any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding as we finalize arrangements to ensure a smooth and successful festival.

Please also note that the festival will be hosted across three main venues in Meru County: Meru Teachers College, Meru School and Kaaga Girls High School.

We look forward to welcoming you to Meru County for an exciting celebration of talent, creativity and culture.
