Why have I as a teacher served dedicatedly in my career for the last 30 years without any promotion infact am really frustrated right now
we are sincerely sorry for the missing out Nancy. which job group were u looking to be promoted to?
I have gone for a degree, attended retooling, seminars and interviews but nothing forthcoming
Please help me
Eagerly waiting to participate
Sure it will also be possible to participate in the survey through the TPay portal
The commission has let Kenyan teachers down. It was a great initiative to have TSC to oversee a myriad affairs of the teachers, but the current leadership have let Kenyan teachers down 👇. How do you handle issues like this? Something that affect life of a very large population. Only Jesus Christ of Nazareth can save Kenyan teachers from these glutton selfish hyenas calling themselves leaders. In
I attended interview in may 2016 and got a regret that I didn’t qualify to move to D1 well, then this year we were only verifying documents to my dismay I got again a shock that I was not PROMOTED TO D1,I have degree,am kcpe senior examiner,am doing my Masters from LAIKIPIA UNIVERSITY, I know my GOD one day will fight for me even if it means after my death AMEN
TSC please when are you planning to employ me a 2018 graduant? Am getting old before eating my swaet kindly do something
How would you explain to a teacher who has not been employed after completing the studies 8 yrs ago..and realising someone who graduated in 2022 has been hired…
This is unfair and it downgrades the morale of teachers…
Tsc you lack total fareness. We went back to school to further our education but you stopped promoting us despite having papers. You talk of career progression and are subjected to many interviews full of frustrating questions without success. I wonder who succeeds in those interviews?.We took primary option to suit where we teach but as you promote people you insist on secondary option .Be human and accord all of us the right progressive promotions. I feel in future there is no need to apply nor go for those frustrating interviews.
Looking for a teaching job history/cre. Around Thika/kabati/ kenol. Am a graduate 2021.
Will they even listen
Nancy just want to listen to our cries and laugh
Just imagine working in a station for over 10 years , when you ask for transfer the answer is no one wants that station. The county director of kajiado is a dictator and the triballist. TSC top management needs total overhaul
Am mentally ill,Y could someone enter in an interview room m then the panelists wonders umetoka wapi despite having an invitation letter.
I did interview the second time am getting a regret lam 50yrs I have a diploma current grade c2 I have stayed for 9yrs I acted as as a senor teacher I am an examiner I got 82in tpad why did I miss promotion
I have stagnated in current job group for 10 yrs and also acted as senior teacher for 7yrs ,acting as deputy head teacher and still I have been doing interviews since 2018 .I did my diploma and graduated 2010 I also graduated 2016 after been certified as degree holder in BED what qualifications are required for me to be promoted am really discouraged
Amen not aware of the criteria used to promote teachers. Its painful that one has to stagnate in the same job group for years without promotion
Promotions were poorly done with tribalism taking the frontline.somebody with 3 years as a deputyheadteacher2 got headship and she is in kitui county just because she is not a kamba tribe bt from ur tribe.that is bad.bt when God opens doors for us we will still get.otherwise u just fooled us taking our documents for verification yet u had ur people in mind.let the names be kept in database instead of tiring us every year.we know nobody in tsc but ourAbleGod
This TSC thing is a scam. The worst employer ever where teachers are there to be manipulated and be mistreated..The worst thing I can think of is having one of my kids becoming a teacher.HORRIBLE!!!!The so called promotions are deliberately in advance skewed. What does this TSC look for during the so called interviews yet
all the information regarding the interviewees are in their custody.
Anyway retirement is also beckoning where the the pride of power will reduce some people to mere villagers with nobody to order around or be noticed by anybody.
TSC kindly promote teachers who have stagnated in the same job Group for long. A graduate teacher retiring in C3 is so demoralizing. God is seeing you Nancy maharia
I am aBED(sci).I was a deputy headteacher from 2021 to 2023 where I was deployed to junior secondary losing my administrative responsibility. Another deputy was send to the school. Don’t you think you’re demotivating us?I tend to think that jss being in a comprehensive school, the dht were not suppose to be made to relinquish their position but to continue serving.during the just concluded interviews, the panelists took date we were deployed to jss as length of stay in the current scale.
A teacher from 1990,UT, 1993-1995 p1 to-date, done interview twice ,Never promoted 35 good years in service,am about to retire in my p1 because C1 is P1 to me , surely am in agony, who will save me,in January 2025, I presented my papers for interview nothing my name was not in the list,Will one day light shine on me? Just a P1 to the end?am lamenting, sympathising with myself,At 57yrs old with a ECDE Diploma a P1,Mungu ashuke Tu.
We are out satisfied with the payments increase our salaries
Promotions are unfair
Transfer to your preferred areas are relayed especially to Nairobi or ares near Nairobi is a problem
It seems there is a corruption
TSC is not helping. Everyone is corrupt, they are also protecting corrupt teachers. TSC has made school governance for difficult, they are frustrating the work of quality assurance. They are rewarding corrupt teachers and frustrating hard working teachers. Terrible
What about those teachers languishing in the same grade for decades and nothing forthcoming?
I upgraded a diploma course graduated 2010 till now no promotion, I was disappointed when my TSc wasn’t not in list, imagine 22 years dedicated to teaching
Very corrupt sector
U pple having a negative side of tsc is the one making u not to be promoted or this was ur last option in the career field be flexible and be positive am a teacher so far this the 4th transfer I have done plz don’t hate tsc or those directors just teach and go home

I have really learned alot as a 21st century teacher where teaching is supposed to come from within once’s soul( touch heart, teach mind and transform life
