TSC extends teacher promotion application to 15th September

After facing serious technical problems that made it impossible for teachers to apply for promotions online, the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has now extended the application deadline to 15th September 2023.

Initially the application deadline was set to end midnight of yesterday 8th September 2023.

However teachers have been unable to submit their applications online due to serious technical problems on TSC servers.

We tried the online promotion application link today morning and we found out its still not working despite the extension and assurance from TSC.

“The Commission has extended the period of application for the 36,000 promotional vacancies to 15th September 2023 to enable eligible teachers to submit documents,” TSC wrote yesterday on its social media pages.

Below is the promotion advert by TSC that was released in August 2023 for teachers to apply online.

The Commission advertised 36,275 promotion slots for teachers from job group C1 to D5 in August.

The Teachers Service Commission is a Constitutional Commission established under Article 237 (1) of the Constitution.

Interested candidates, who meet the required qualifications, should submit their applications online through the TSC portal –  www.teachersonline.go.ke so as to be received latest 8th  September, 2023.

Manual applications shall not be considered.
