NOMINATION OF EXEMPLARY TEACHERS FOR THE WAJIBIKA AWARD
The Teachers Service Commission is in the process of identifying exemplary teachers, school administrators, and learning institutions for consideration for the Wajibika Award, an initiative of the Public Service Commission.
The Award seeks to recognize teachers and administrators who have demonstrated outstanding commitment to transparency, integrity, and accountability within the teaching service.
It also aims to acknowledge learning institutions that have put in place effective measures to promote these values, ultimately enhancing learning outcomes.
The Commission has adopted performance evaluation tools (TPAD and Performance Contracting) alongside KCSE/KCPE mean scores as the criteria for nomination.
Teachers with TPAD scores of 95% and above for six consecutive terms (Term 2, 2024 to Term 1, 2026) have been shortlisted as prospective nominees from your County.
