The Teachers Service Commission was already given sh10.5 billion to fully implement the pay increment.
The teachers August salaries will start hitting accounts today. TSC has already remitted third party deductions like insurance premiums and sacco shares to relevant bodies.
Only one allowance and that is house allowance that is affected and set to go upward for certain job groups.
The House allowance rates has been paid as categorized in four clusters. Cluster 1: Nairobi City Cluster 2: Mombasa, Kisumu and Nakuru Cities, Nyeri, Eldoret, Thika, Kisii, Malindi and Kitale municipalities. Cluster 3: Other former municipalities. Cluster 4: All other areas.
