STATE EXTENDS DIGITAL REGISTRATION OF LEARNERS DEADLINE TO 31st MARCH

School principals and headteachers now have up to end of March to complete registering their students.
The new system popularly known as NEMIS will give students in primary and secondary schools a Unique Personal Identification code (UPI) that can be used to track their progress at all levels of education.
According to Education Principal Secretary, Belio Kipsang, the project is part of the key projects funded by world bank.
He said NEMIS would also be used to assess the performance of the education system, harmonise student data and closely monitor distribution of resources.
