A source has revealed that teachers promoted to administrative positions especially deputy and headteacher positions will be posted outside their sub counties but within the county.
However those promoted to senior teacher positions will be posted to schools with vacancies within their sub counties.
Those in acting positions and confirmed will be retained in the schools where they have been acting for years.
The Commission advertised a total of 36,505 promotion vacancies for primary and post primary school teachers in September last year.
The interviews for primary school teachers were done from 4th to 15th December 2023.
Secondary school teachers and Teacher Training College (TTC) tutors had their interviews running from 3rd to 16th January 2024.
Many teachers were disappointed after TSC published a list of those successful. Majority say the promotions were unfair.
This is after it emerged that very junior teachers were promoted while their seniors who have served for many years were left.
TSC also revealed that its in a process to promote another 6,000 primary school teachers through deployment to junior school.
The Commission advertised 6,000 deployment slots for serving primary school teachers with degree in secondary option to apply online by 18th March 2024.
TSC plans to promote the PTE teachers by posting them to serve in junior secondary school section early next term.
The Commission has asked teachers who are qualified to apply for the deployment by 18th March.

When teachers complain, it is not taken seriously until they commit suicide. Treat teachers with respect they deserve. How can you promote juniors and forget their seniors? It is full embarrassment.
