RUTO RERSEVES 50 TSC RECRUITMENT SLOTS FOR AKORINO
Thankful president William Ruto has directed the reservation of 50 additional teaching slots for Akorino candidates in the upcoming Teachers Service Commission (TSC) recruitment and announced the immediate construction of a Ksh120 million college in Ruai.
Speaking during a Thanksgiving service at State House, Nairobi, on Sunday 12th April, the President said the government was committed to supporting qualified Akorino teachers through increased recruitment opportunities, noting that the additional slots would help expand access to public sector jobs.
“Akorino teachers are very sharp, and because of that, I am allocating 50 additional slots today for your children to be employed as teachers,” ….Ruto said.
In addition to the recruitment directive, the Head of State announced the immediate construction of a college for the Akorino community on a six-acre parcel of land in Ruai, valued at Ksh120 million.
He said construction of the institution will begin this week and is expected to be completed within one year.
