List of documents P1 teachers must present for verification in July interviews

TSC will shortlist and conduct recruitment interviews for shortlisted teachers in its July 2022 recruitment exercise.

According to recruitment roadmap County Selection Process and Filling of Application for Employment Forms by Successful Candidates will take five days between Thursday 21th July, 2022 and Wednesday 27th July, 2022.

During the selection, each applicant shall be assigned a serial number. Applicants must present original and legible photocopies of the following, among other relevant documents: –

a) National identification card;

b) Certificate of Registration as a teacher;

c) Authentic evidence of service as a teacher intern (where applicable);

d) PTE /DPTE Certificate;

e) KCSE certificates or its equivalent (include certificates for attempts if one re-sat exams);

f) KCPE certificate or its equivalent (include certificates for attempts if one re-sat exams);

g) Letter of Certification of results by KNEC (where applicable);

h) Primary and Secondary School leaving certificates and other relevant testimonials;

i) National Council of Persons with Disabilities (NCPWD) Card (where applicable);

j) An Affidavit sworn under the Oaths and Statutory Declarations Act, Cap 15 of the Laws of Kenya to explain the variance in names.

Original academic and professional certificates shall be scrutinized to verify their authenticity.

The TSC Sub County Director shall certify photocopies of the certificates and other documents before forwarding them to the TSC County Director.

Any applicant(s) who present forged/fake academic, professional and other documents commit(s) an offence and shall be disqualified and/or deregistered.
