TEACHERS’ INVOLVEMENT IN COMMUNITY BASED LEARNING
The Ministry of Education, in conjunction with the Teachers Service Commission and Ministry of Interior and Coordination of National Government, plans to start mounting the Community Based Learning programme in all parts of the country for primary and secondary school learners.
So far, the TSC – the employer of all teaching staff – has mapped out teachers to be involved under the programme.
The teachers’ participation in the Community Based Learning Programme is not tied to the payment of their monthly salaries. The Ministry therefore wishes to clarify media reports to the effect that teachers who have yet to enroll for the programme will be denied their monthly salaries.
We therefore encourage all teachers that have yet to enroll to do so to facilitate the running of the noble programme.

Why don’t we replace the community based learning with a dry run of opening class 8 and form 4, and finalist undergraduates starting octobet through December 15th, am sure we will pick up something !!?? Is Dr Mwangangi hearing this !

Why should the ministry start playing around with bom fellows psychology ? If no pay let them know and forget about the movement ,rather than giving them false hopes that may even stop them from their hustle
