RE: IDENTIFICATION OF TRAINING VENUES FOR KEMIS TRAINING

Kenya Education Management Institute (KEMI) is a Management Development Institute which serves as the Capacity Building Agency of the Ministry of Education

KEMI is mandated under Legal Notice No. 19/2010 to provide Education Management Training, conduct Research and offer Consultancy Services in the Education Sector.

In accordance with the directive from the Ministry of Education, KEMI has been tasked with leading the National Training initiative on the operationalization of the Kenya Education Management Information System (KEMIS).

This exercise targets participants from Primary and Junior Schools as follows;

i) All Heads of Primary Schools
ii) All Heads of Junior Schools
iii) Two teachers one from each level (Primary and Junior school)

This training aims to equip participants with requisite knowledge and skills to effectively implement and utilize KEMIS for data driven decision making, Institutional accountability and improved education management practices.

The purpose of this letter is to request you to identify training venues at Sub County level, that are proximity with the participants.

The venues need to have a capacity to hold a maximum of 150 participants.

Kindly refer to the attached schedule as you identify the venues.

The information is to be mailed through info@kemi.ac.ke by 13th October 2025.
