Following  a decision by the Government to re-open  Universities in January 2021,  the University has embarked on various preparatory activities in line with the guidelines set by the Ministry of Health to combat the COVID-19 pandemic.

Some of the activities  include re-arrangement of hostel  facilities to accommodate fewer  residents and fumigation of all rooms.  To enable  us carry out these activities, you are required to collect ALL  your belongings from the University’s Halls ofResidence between 17th August 2020 and 28th August 2020.

The hostel staff will be available to clear you on normal working hours except on weekends.  We shall not be able to take care of belongings not collected after 28  August 2020. The laid down COVID-19 prevention   guidelines including wearing of face masks, sanitizing, and social distancing MUST be obeyed  by all students as they collect their belongings.
