TSC launches its strategic plan 2023 to 2027 in Nairobi

The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) is set to to launch its 2023 to 2027 strategic plan today in Nairobi.

In attendance will be TSC Commissioners led by its CEO and Secretary Dr. Nancy Njeri Macharia and Chairperson Jamleck Muturi.

Also present will be Prime Minister Musalia Mudavadi, Education CS Ezekiel Machogu and PS Education Belio Kipsang.

The launch comes at a time when TSC has changed its mission and vision statements and core values.

It also comes at a time the Commission has advertised 20,000 internship jobs. TSC has advertised 18,000 internship posts for junior secondary school teachers and 2,000 others for primary school teachers.

Teachers are also looking forward to get a salary increment this month. Teachers will get a payrise of 7% to 10% according to President William Ruto.

The strategic plan will address how teacher recruitments will be done, teacher transfers, promotion of teachers among others.
