MINISTRY LATEST CIRCULAR ORDERING TRAINING OF GRADE 1, 2 AND 3 TEACHERS BY SEPTEMBER

RE: ORIENTATION OF GRADES 1, 2 AND 3 TEACHERS ON THE REVISED ENGLISH AND KISWAHILI DESIGNS AND INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS
As you are aware, the State Department of Early Learning and Basic Education together with Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development 9KICD) with financial support from USAID sensitized all field officers on the revised Curriculum Designs and Course Books in May.
This therefore calls the same to be cascaded to teachers of grades 1, 2 and 3 from all Public Primary Schools.
The orientation should take place between 19th to 23rd September 2022 during the school break.
The lead trainers should prepare a zonal training schedule for all the zones in your County.
The purpose of this circular therefore is to request you to organize the training venues and invite the teachers for the same.
As County Director of Education you are required to ensure the orientation is effective.
