Learners were allowed the opportunity to apply for review of the initial placement from 23rd December, 2025.

The processing of applications for review was concluded on 29th December, 2025and the results are now available on the placement portal.

Following the initial placement, we received a total of 355,457 applications for review, with each learner allowed to lodge up to four applications.

Upon consideration, applications by 211,636 learners have been apporved.

The other applications have been declined largely due to the absence of the preferred subject combinations or the lack of capacity in the selected schools, and the learners have been advised accordingly.

This far, a total of 88% of all learners have been placed in line with their original or revised selections.

However, interested learners will still have an opportunity to apply for further review from 6th January to 9th January, 2026.

At present, 51% of the learners have been placed to the STEM pathway; 38% of the learners have been placed to the Social Sciences pathway while 11% of the learners have been placed to the Arts and Sports pathway.
