Dr Nancy Macharia’s season greetings to teachers and secretariat staff

On behalf of the Teachers Service Commission, I extend this season’s greetings to all secretariat staff, teachers and their families.

May this holiday be filled with  happiness, good health and prosperity

This year’s holiday is unique because we are marking it amidst the Covid-I9  pandemic.

Therefore, we need to observe the MOH ovid-9 safety measures as we celebrate.

I urge you to be especially alert when attending social functions; the coronavirus is not on holiday.

Despite the uncertainties brought by the pandemic, the Commission continuously delivered its mandate throughout the year.

This was made possible by your passion for your job whether as a secretariat staff or a teacher.

Often times, you went beyond  the call of duty working under the “new normal” of adherence to Covid-I9 protocols.

I thank you from the bottom of my heart for this.

Additionally, I sincerely appreciate all secretariat staff and teachers for disseminating the Covid-I9 safety measures to the communities where they live and work.

Please continue doing so throughout this holiday into the new year.

I wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year full of God’s blessings.
