Kwale county set to get its first Teachers Training College (TTC)

A plan is underway to construct a Teachers Training College (TTC) in Kwale county. Already Kshs 200 Million has been set aside by the Kwale County government for the same. It is estimated the project will cost a tune of Kshs 300 Million. Bang’a which is found in Kinango sub county  has been selected as the best site where the college will be constructed.

If all goes well then this will be the county’s first teachers college. Their are several colleges like DICECE which offers education to pre-primary school teachers and Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) which is a college for medical students, also a Technical and Vocational training college which was recently completed. The national government has promised to support the project.
