Education Cabinet Secretary Prof George Magoha has warned that stern action will be taken against the publishers who do not distribute the books by Thursday, but he was impressed that in Embu County, the books had been distributed in time.
“By and large the majority of the books have been provided in schools but we shall continue with spot checks countrywide and where we shall find challenges in terms of delivery we will make good that challenge,” Magoha said at Urban Primary School.
The CS added that he was happy to see every child with a book.
He also said that the Competency Based Curriculum is good for all children in Kenya.
My concern is that a school like Kabosokipi Primary School which is in Busia County, Teso South Sub- County,Amukura Division/Zone where I head from last year May, 2018,has never RECIEVED any of the Government Books even after making numerous appeals from the sub – county office to the Ministry Hqs. If this can reach anybody who feels for these children of Kabosokipi Primary School, then let them also be supplied with the books.
We have not seen any book in Baringo north sub county
