RELEASE OF FEEDBACK REPORTS ON THE 2023 KENYA PRIMARY SCHOOL EDUCATION ASSESSMENT AND KENYA INTERMEDIATE LEVEL EDUCATION ASSESSMENT PERFORMANCE REPORTS
The Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) has uploaded feedback reports for the 2023 Kenya Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA) and Kenya Intermediate Level Education Assessment (KILEA) onto the KNEC CBA portal.
These include: School Specific Reports; and Learner Reports. In this regard, KNEC wishes to bring the following guidelines to your attention:
1.0 All headteachers that presented candidates for the 2023 KPSEA and KILEA are advised to log onto CBA portal https://cba.knec.ac.ke and use the school’s credentials (username and password), to access the Performance reports for individual learners (Learner Reports) and performance analysis for the entire school (School Specific Reports).
2.0 To access School Specific Reports, once logged onto the CBA portal, schools are required to:
2.1 click on the icon ‘KPSEA Portal or ‘KILEA Portal;
2.2 select View Report’; and
2.3 click on ‘KPSEA Schoo/ Specific Report’ or ‘KILEA Schoo/ Specific Report’ to download the performance analysis for the centre.
3.0 To access Individual Learner Performance reports, once logged onto the cba portal, schools are required to:
3.1 click on the icon ‘KPSEA Porta/ or I KILEA Portal;
3.2 select View Report’;
3.3 Go to ‘Down/oad KPSEA Performance Report’or ‘Download KILEA Performance Report’; and
3.4 enter the Assessment Number of the learner to download the Performance report.
4.0 Candidates whose Individual Learner Reports require further information from KNEC shall receive a notification instructing them to contact KNEC through the e-mail: kpsea@knec.acke or the KNEC Call Centre so as to provide further information regarding their results.
5.0 All queries arising from the results should be submitted to KNEC in writing, through the office of the Sub-County Directors of Education within 30 days. The letter should clearly indicate:
5.1 the school code and name;
5.2 Assessment number(s) and name of the learner(s) affected;
5.3 the affected Paper/Subject; and
5.4 contacts through which the Head-teacher can be reached to resolve the query.
Please bring this information to the attention of all those involved in dissemination of the feedback to the learners and other stakeholders.
