TSC edge closer to end September teacher promotion applications

The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) will close September promotion applications on Friday 8th September 2023.

After closing the application portal the Commission will start to interview teachers in their counties.

A number of teachers who were transferred from their working stations have raised concern after they faced hitches during applications.

The teachers still have their TMIS details indicating they are in their former schools. Their TPADs are also in previous schools.

In the online application teachers are required to submit their 2020, 2021 and 2022 TPAD scores.

🔶Log in to your TPAD account.

🔶On the dashboard, go to APPRAISALS then SELF APPRAISAL.
🔶Click VIEW ARCHIVED APPRAISAL. You’ll get a warning prompt.
🔶Click ADVANCED.
🔶Click PROCEED (It’s indicated ‘Unsafe.’ Ignore the warning)
🔶Click the VIEW APPRAISAL tab on the far right of each term appraisal.
🔶On your computer, press CTRL+P to print each page.

🔸To work out the figures to enter in the promotion application portal, get the average score for each year.
🔸Print the reports and have them stamped by your head of institution. Retain them for use during the promotion interviews.

The transferred teachers want TSC to solve the TMIS mix-up to allow them apply for the advertised posts like their colleagues.

Below is the promotion advert by TSC that was released in August 2023 for teachers for teachers to apply online.

The Commission advertised 36,275 promotion slots for teachers from job group C1 to D5 in August.

The Teachers Service Commission is a Constitutional Commission established under Article 237 (1) of the Constitution.

Interested candidates, who meet the required qualifications, should submit their applications online through the TSC portal –  www.teachersonline.go.ke so as to be received latest 8th  September, 2023.

Manual applications shall not be considered.
