Matuga girls high school which was ranked position 163 and the only school in the list of top 200 schools nationally recorded a mean score of 7.097 in the 2021 KCSE exams.

Waa boys high school which is an extra county school, lost its gory and now keeps recording unpleasant performance. It had a mean score of 4.583 in the 2021 KCSE exams.
Kinango boys high school recorded a mean score of 5.385 which is a C- (minus) in the 2021 KCSE exams. A total of 39 candidates secured university entry.
Waa girls secondary school which is an extra county school scored a mean score of 5.4851 in the 2021 KCSE exams.
Mazeras girls memorial had a mean score of 4.6835 and secured 15 direct university entry for the candidates.
