Thirty-eight Form Four students at Kabarnet High School in Baringo County have tested positive for COVID-19, K24 TV announced.
The learners, whose samples had been taken for COVID-19 testing, received their results Saturday, with 38 of the students confirmed to have contracted the virus.
Three teachers at the school, who spoke to K24 on condition of anonymity, said panic has engulfed the Kabarnet High School fraternity following the news.
A Ministry of Health official, who also spoke to K24 in confidence, reiterated the teachers’ confirmation.
